Yona ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Yona mobile application ("App") collects, uses, and protects your information.
Yona is designed with a privacy-first approach. We intentionally minimize data collection and prioritize on-device processing wherever possible.
Yona does not require you to create an account to use the App. We may collect limited information if you contact us for support, provide feedback, or subscribe to updates. This may include your email address and message content.
Yona may request access to your location only when you use the App to discover nearby places. Location is used to search for nearby places and is not permanently stored on our servers. Location processing is performed on-device whenever possible. You may disable location access at any time in your device settings.
When you search for places, the App may send search queries to third-party APIs (e.g., map or places providers). Results (such as place name, rating, and address) may be stored locally on your device to improve performance. We do not build user behavioral profiles.
We may collect limited anonymous analytics data to improve performance, identify crashes, and understand general feature usage. This data does not include personal identity, is aggregated, and is not sold.
We use information solely to provide place recommendations, improve app performance, debug issues, and enhance user experience. We do not sell personal data, share personal data with advertisers, or build cross-app tracking profiles.
Yona follows a local-first storage model. Saved places and app activity are stored on your device. We avoid centralized storage of user trails and use industry-standard security practices for any limited data processing. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Yona may use third-party services such as mapping or Places APIs, crash reporting tools, and analytics providers. These providers may process limited data necessary to provide their services. Please review their privacy policies for additional information.
Because Yona stores most information locally, you may delete your data by uninstalling the App. We retain support emails only as long as necessary to resolve issues.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access your data, request deletion, restrict processing, and withdraw consent.
To exercise these rights, contact: support@cloudyden.com
Yona is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that data has been collected from a child, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will update the effective date and post notice within the App or website.
